About the project
E-Learning Platform for MSMEs and Farmers

eDistance Learning Platform for the MSMEs and Entrepreneurs (eDLP 4 MSMe) project is a distance educational model, with MSMEs and entrepreneurs from rural parts of Serbia as the main beneficiaries. Planned duration of the project was 12 months, starting December 2021, with the general objective to promote the equality of chances in the field of entrepreneurship, by promoting inclusion in the field of adult education, especially in rural and underdeveloped areas, to strengthen and develop small business, in the context of sustainable and balanced regional development of Serbian municipalities.

The Project Partners
The project was implemented through a partnership, relying on an adequate combination of expertise and competences from different partners, needed to implement the project.
The first partner is Glenfield Training & Consulting from Serbia, expert in the areas of Financial Management, Strategy & Organization, HR Management & Systems, Staff & Management Training.
The second partner is E- Square from France, with multiple years’ experience in custom e-learning services.

About E-Square
Esquare is a research and educational organisation based in France, dedicated to the advancement of research and innovation. Esquare promotes the educational and consultancy activities, psychological and soft skills development of youth and adults in order to be able to adapt and to integrate effectively in a dynamic society. Esquare wishes to enhance people empowerment, entrepreneurship, creativity, social inclusion and the acceptance of cultural diversity through intercultural learning. Esquare helps people to develop and execute their ideas and initiatives into concrete projects and tends to develop their creativity, strengths and entrepreneurship skills. Esquare turns ambitious ideas into product solutions people use every day. Applications, platforms, online tests and e-learning platforms. This includes: development and design, customization and support on management.
Why the EDLP
The Project Purpose and Goals
By developing the digital learning platform, as envisaged by the project, and improving the educational delivery model, Glenfield was expecting tol be able to further adjust the content and the accessibility of the training programs for the key beneficiaries. That would enable reaching the objectives set:
Content Delivery
Enabling the delivery of trainings tailored to fit the business needs, and focused to strengthen the key resources of the MSMEs in rural and underdeveloped parts of Serbia. The new delivery platform will supplement traditional face-to-face delivery models.
Exchange of Good Practices
The learning platform and educational content will provide the exchange of good practices, contributing to the development and improvement of the local and regional educational environment
Capacity Increase
Distance Learning Platform for the MSMEs and Entrepreneurs can support the improvement of Serbian participating organization’s (Glenfield) capabilities in e-learning and related open and distance education fields.
Gaining Experience
Partner organization from France (E-Square) can gain more experience and knowledge on MSME and entrepreneurial education, and specifics of distance learning platforms for this target groups.
Inclusion
Project can provide the inclusion of MSMEs and entrepreneurs from undeveloped and rural areas, by introducing advanced digital learning platform, with customized training courses, tailored to the needs of MSMEs and entrepreneurs in a post-Covid-19 business environment
Glenfield’s trainings and educational courses were delivered by traditional face-to-face models, and with the COVID-19 outbreak, they have successfully transitioned to the basic on-line delivery which does impose certain limitations. Therefore, the immediate benefit recognized from cooperating with transnational partner was the possiblitiy of introduction of digital distance learning platform, which would expand the reach, and improve the scope and the features of educational content provided to final beneficiaries. The benefit would also reflect in high success rates of educational programs application, aiming to increase the development potential of entrepreneurs and MSMEs, their sustainability and resilience.
Among its specific objectives, the project had a set of goals:
Raising awareness among MSMEs and entrepreneurs from rural and underdeveloped parts of Serbia regarding how active, long-life learning can boost innovations, business growth and development
Promoting the equality of chances in the field of entrepreneurship, in terms of facilitation of access to critical skills and know how in rural areas
Developing high quality innovative digital learning methods, useful not only for entrepreneurs in rural and underdeveloped parts of Serbia, but also applicable to other sensitive groups of entrepreneurs
Developing digital distance learning platform, available for educational purposes in conditions of restricted movement, as during the current Covid-19 crisis
Contributing to the development and improvement of the local and regional adult-educational environment
Increasing the number of available trainings, and improving their quality, by providing tailored, purposeful and high-quality delivery of entrepreneurial skills
Improving internal organizational capacities of the participating organizations, and their capacity to provide access to critical educational needs of entrepreneurs
Disseminating good practices in distance entrepreneurial education, contributing to the sustainable and balanced regional development of all Serbian municipalities
